Andrei Gavrilița (b. 2001, Republic of Moldova) is a visual artist that uses photography. His practice emerges through long-term conceptual and documentary projects. In his documentary photography, he examines themes such as infrastructural underdevelopment, environmental negligence, and economic inequality in the Romanian urban landscape. His conceptual works question digital photography and representation in a post-photographic context, while exploring topics like advertising, virtual worlds and the computer screen.
